About Earlco Vineyards

To deliver superior quality viticulture practices while working together with care, integrity and passion for the mutual benefit of customers, employees and shareholders based on communication, education and reform.

In 2003 when John Lawrence founded Earlco, he was only looking to buy a tractor and hire experienced workers to farm his 15 acre vineyard.  As the BC wine industry grew and the acres under vine soared the need for vineyard management was high.  Earlco expanded along with the industry.  Today, we are proud to be led by a young dynamic team that is passionate about farming top quality grapes for superior wine. 

A family company with a family name.  John and wife Liz retired to the Okanagan after purchasing a vineyard in 2003.  began to employ a few people to farm the vineyard starting a vineyard company and stuck with the theme naming it Earlco; Emily, Abigail, Rebecca Lawrence company. 

What do Airedale Terriers have to do with viticulture! Nothing, but we love the breed and the loyalty they show. They are fearless protectors of vineyards and keep away bears, deer, racoons and unfortunately... skunks.
